Yin Yang
Yin Yang is part of the Sacred Geometry series
On the creation of this work -
In her adolescence, the artist spent hours studying and drawing geometric shapes, in complete delight. More recently, after admiring the harmony of forms in Kandinsky's work, she decided to give vent to her old youthful desires, exploring the universe of abstraction. Thus, researching further, in order to bring greater solidity to her ideas, the artist found sacred geometry which, in itself, brings a more spiritual meaning to existence. After discovering this basic principle, the artist found enough justification to explore it within the pictorial universe. When studying the harmony of geometric shapes, she discovered a point of balance to begin her work. This is how the yin yang lines emerged that gave rise to her geometric abstracts, as well as the other semi-abstract paintings that follow, when flowers and plants are added to them. The yin yang lines of Eastern philosophy, which underlie her works in this new series, represent the balance that is so necessary in nature and in everything that surrounds us. And to echo them, the presence of luminous and tiny particles (electrons) becomes fundamental. The scene is then perfect, in complete balance and harmony. From then on, everything is created and transformed.
