Roots is part of the “She” series.

Moving away from the artist's usual inspirational theme, this work contains a unique recognition of the importance of women in our society. Coming from various ethnicities, different regions and cultures they all play similar roles of strength, talent and courage, forming a single character. In this artwork, homage is paid to Brazilian women.
                                                                                                                                         Media used -
The paint used on the canvas is acrylic and the collages, in different formats, give the work a contemporary character. They are painted and arranged in order to best compose the work.
