Metamorphosis
“Metamorphosis” is part of the "Watercolour" series
Creation of the work:
This painting originated from the wish to paint flowers... diaphanous flowers, as only they know how to be. Watercolor seems to be, in the artist's opinion, the most appropriate technique to deal with the fluidity that flowers evoke.
A vase flowering the city, right in the center of the hustle and bustle, was always an idea that the artist pursued. One day it happened. But then, an intense calm took over the process of painting - the green in the background brought a lot of depth and the city became more distant. But it was still there. Spying perhaps? Music is heard. The bees can't resist and come to kiss the flowers. Perfect setting!!A couple stands out in the scenary and dances quietly enveloped by the magic of that moment.
What feelings does this painting evoke?
