On the creation of this work:

This painting originated from the desire to paint flowers... diaphanous flowers, as only they know how to be. Watercolor seems to be, in the artist's opinion, the most appropriate technique to deal with the fluidity that flowers evoke. An intense calm took over the process at the time of painting... So much enchantment hangs over this place - Perfect setting! A refuge perhaps? What feelings does this painting evoke?
