Scenes of a luminous umbrella is part of the "City" series 

Creation of the work:

Urban centers were, as most of the time, the source of inspiration for this work. From a sketch, inspired by the You2 song “Where the streets have no name”, the artist took it to the computer. There, she discovered other possibilities.
The colorful, fluttering flags over the city play a crucial role in
artist's conception. In the poetics of this work, they appear light and are tied to nothing, always bringing hope and good vibrations. A character walks on them, it is not known whether she is coming or going. For some observers, she is leaving, for others, she is going down to the city.            After the first idea, others came up and the artist decided to take it to the computer. Instead of a dark city, then we had a very luminous one. Perhaps the colorful flags as well as the umbrella made the miracle and transformed the city.  After it was printed, collages were aplied to the canvas, adding  different meanings and changing the character of the painting.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Media used -                                                                                                                           Pastel, paper, digital art, printing and collage.
